CWA Awards in The Bookseller

The October 26th edition of the Bookseller, the UK publishing trade publication, M.C. Beaton appears on the news page alongside Golden Dagger winner Gene Kerrigan. Although unable to present the Dagger as originally scheduled, she met with Mr Kerrigan after the ceremony to congratulate him on his award.

The Dagger Awards are presented annually by the Crime Writers Association, and the Golden Dagger is given for the best crime novel of the year. Gene Kerrigan beat stiff competition to win with his novel The Rage, after previously having been shortlisted in 2009.
